Every task has prerequisites for subsequent tasks. If the prerequisites are not met, it is difficult to expect accurate results even if you complete the following tasks.
Even in regulator repair, the intermediate pressure must be accurately set before setting the cracking pressure. A further important prerequisite is that the seal inside the second stage regulator must be tested with a microvacuum approximating the cracking pressure. Otherwise, when you send the regulator to the customer after repairs, you are likely to hear two complaints from the customer.
One is, “After using it for a while, it starts to freeflow.”
Another complaint was, “After the repair, my breathing got a little harder.”
Why is this? This is because a microvacuum test was not performed.
With SRSD, all these problems are completely solved. This is because you can easily set the cracking pressure by testing all sections of the breathing resistance control knob while visually seeing the instantaneous changes in the set value and the trend graph. Moreover, to be more confident in the results of your work, as will be covered in another topic, it is necessary to test the free flow at cracking pressures up to the manufacturer’s maximum allowable intermediate pressure range. This will make it the best performing regulator.
Perform regulator repairs with confidence using SRSD.
You can be confident in the results of your work.
